A well-established maritime company in Israel, with three owned cruise ships. And one large cargo ship, the largest maritime company in Israel with over 600 employees, and the largest shipping agent with over 25 offices around the world

FEBRUARY 2001 – PRESENT - HOTEL GENERAL MANAGER - MANO MARITIME
General hotel manager on the M\V “THE IRIS”, A 5* cruise ship with 230-passenger cabin and 120 crew cabins. With capacity of 670 passengers and 220 crew members.
Witch of whom 120 crew member where Hotel employees and under my direct responsibility.

RESPONSIBILITY
· Direct responsibility for all Hotel department
· Staff work schedules and coordination of duties rotations
· Training and overseeing of all staff within the Hotel department
· Monitor staff performance and ensure all operation procedures and prepare performance reviews
· Verify, coordinate and oversee all ordering of all Hotel and food related purchases for the ship
· Oversee and coordinate all points of sells such as: bars, duty-free shops, Restaurant, Excursion office
· Ensure proper accounting procedures for all sells items
· Maintain quality control procedures pertaining to all Hotel related departments
· Direct monitoring of all Hotel repairs
· Coordinate and monitor the sanitation procedures
· Coordinate all Hotel tasks with other departments head to ensure the company product is properly delivered to our passengers
· After the Lay Up of the Ship on December 2003. I was appointed as Ship Refurnishing Supervisor. Consisting of Refurnishing of all Public areas of the Ship (Dinning Room, Music Saloon, Casino, Disco, Reception and all Bars). For the next season commencing in March 2004.

KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
· Dropped food cost by 15%, Motivated increase in shore excursion income and in all points of sells.
· Developed employee – guest relations programme, Increased returning guest factor, Up graded & implemented the Vessel sanitary program, Developed a user – friendly training program. Developed seasonal menus.

2. SHERATON JERUSALEM HOTEL
A 5* resort Hotel located in the city center, with 350 luxury rooms with all appropriate
Facilities and large banquet department and fine dinning restaurants and catering facilities
JUNE 2000 – DECEMBER 2000 – FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER AT THE SHERATON HOTEL
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead department of 80 employees and oversee entire department smooth operation
· Trained all department staff and monitor staff performance to ensure all operation procedures
· Verify, Coordinate and oversee all ordering of F&B related purchases and products
· Direct responsibilities for food cost and monitoring all of the accounting
· Developed daily and seasonal menus
· Prepared the department budget and oversee its implementation
· Maintain quality control in food preparation. Oversee and monitor banquette sells and operation
